Its portfolio was further completed and an efficient manufacturing base was established in The Netherlands, France and China. Close cooperation with its Stibbe sister companies DTS (Diesel Technology Solutions) and SSM (Stork Services Maritime) -- especially on machining engine blocks, parts and the supply of spare parts -- strengthened its market share and tripled its turnover to €40 million.
 
Its significant size, complete portfolio and solid market share with key OEM engine builders made Bloksma an attractive strategic acquisition for the GEA Group in Germany, a leading heat exchange manufacturer worldwide.
